The Limone Cup takes place for the 18th time in the area of Lake Garda in Northern Italy. In 2011 there were teams from Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway.

Each team play three matches on grass or artificial grass pitches of the highest quality. The rest of the stay is for relaxing and enjoying the wonderful area and the scenic villages by the lake. Day trips to e.g. Verona and the nearby amusement park Gardaland are also very popular among the participants.

Apart from the football tournament there is the possibility to watch a top match either in Champions League, UEFA Cup, or the Italian Seria A.

This tournament caters for all age groups for boys and girls and offers football at both 7-a-side and 11-a-side.

Tournament Age Groups - something to consider
Most countries throughout the World use January 1st to define their team age groups. For instance for the 20011/12 season U12’s in England are usually born August 1999 and later, in Europe an U12 will be born after January 2000.
Many tournaments are aware of this difference and give age concessions, check with us when you are choosing which event to enter.
