Bayern Trophy

April 2-5th 2021

If you’re looking for an international competition, the Bayern Trophy is definitely the perfect choice.

It is a summit between teams from Northern and Southern Europe. The previous edition of the Bayern Trophy certainly did not disappoint, with around 100 teams from over 12 different countries taking part, from the Balkan states to Denmark, Ireland to Slovakia and everything in between.

The tournament is the pride of Heimstetten and Ismaning, Two friendly suburbs near the Munich Northeast ring. Although the competition on the pitches is the top priority, it is also good to know that you can hop on the suburban railway (S-Bahn) and reach Marienplatz, Munich’s central square, in no time.

Munich
Folklore and modernity go hand in hand in Munich. Munich is the city of the historic Marienplatz and its beautifully decorated buildings. It is the city of the Oktoberfest with happy people in ‘lederhosen’ and ‘dirndl’ dresses.

Car enthusiasts will no doubt think of BMW, but the main attraction is, of course, FC Bayern Munich and the Allianz Arena!

The atmospheric centre is full of old Bavarian architecture, lively shopping streets and numerous terraces that are pleasantly filled during stretches of fine weather. Munich is definitely worth a visit!

Munich is perfect for shopping and good food. You’ll find shops, cafés and traditional Bavarian eateries on and around the central Marienplatz square.

Would you like to supplement your vitamins after the games? If so, pay a visit to Munich’s famous daily market, the Viktualienmarkt, near the Marienplatz. Here, you can enjoy a wide range of cheap delicacies, like sausages, sandwiches and many other traditional Bavarian treats.

Then go and enjoy it in the Biergarten. You’re welcome to bring your own food, as long as you buy your drinks in the Biergarten. So, it’s also a great, budget-friendly solution!

Allianz Arena
The Allianz Arena is the home of the 2019/20 Champions League winners, Bayern Munich. The white exterior is illuminated in a wide spectrum of colours, so you can spot the stadium from a great distance. Always wanted to see the inside? Well, it is possible!

Among other things, you’ll also be able to enjoy a guided tour of the training complex during your visit. You can also visit the FC Bayern Experience. Here, you’ll learn everything about the club’s history and, after that, you can buy some great FC Bayern Munich souvenirs.
