Theme Parks

Theme Parks

What is there to do in Kissimmee, Florida? Well, everything! Let’s start with the Theme Parks.

With four parks Walt Disney World® Resort has something for kids of all ages.

Experience a world of fascination at Epcot® where you can take a tour of the sights and sounds of eleven countries.

The adventure continues at Disneyʼs Animal Kingdom Theme Park® where you will enjoy the largest animal-themed park in the world. Hollywood glitz and glamour is the feature presentation at Disneyʼs Hollywood Studios®.

Inside the Magic Kingdom®, dreams come to life as seven unique lands are the ticket to adventure that will have you and your family truly captivated.

SeaWorld®

SeaWorld®

A visit to SeaWorld® is a must. It has many live shows and attractions including rides and animal exhibits. Many of these attractions, such as Manta and Wild Arctic, combine the two, with both animal exhibits and a ride. Here are some of the most popular:

Mako: A hypercoaster named after the fastest species of shark in the oceans. Dubbed the longest, tallest and fastest roller coaster in the Orlando area.

Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin: A themed area headlined by a motion-based trackless dark ride featuring live penguin and alcid exhibits.

Wild Arctic: An indoor series of exhibits featuring beluga whales, walruses and harbor seals that is designed to resemble a research station in the Arctic Ocean. Guests can take a motion-simulated helicopter journey to the exhibit or may bypass the ride and watch the film without the motion and proceed directly to the animal exhibits.

The Sealion and Otter Theatre: “Clyde and Seamore,” a pair of California sea lions host Clyde and Seamore’s Sea Lion High. Oriental small-clawed otters and a Pacific walrus also partake in the show. This production is joined by the seasonal show Sea Lions Tonight.

Shamu Stadium: is home to the park’s six killer whales has recently introduced four Pilot Whales.

The park’s current production is One Ocean, which is joined by the seasonal Shamu’s Celebration: Light Up The Night and Shamu Christmas Miracles night shows.

Universal Studios®

Universal Studios® is composed of themed areas and attractions based on the film industry. Visitors get themed dining and shopping, a variety of special events throughout the year, and may even catch an actual film crew at work on the backlot. Here are the main areas:

Universal’s Islands of Adventure: is a theme park composed of seven distinct “islands” that are themed to various forms of adventures.

Visitors start off in the Port of Entry and make their way through the various islands – Marvel Super Hero Island, Toon Lagoon, Jurassic Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, The Lost Continent, and Seuss Landing.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, based on the popular Harry Potter franchise, is the only island added after the park opened.

Airboat Rides

Airboat Rides

Blow like the wind across the water on the ultimate adventure with an airboat tour through the Florida Everglades.

They give you access to most scenic and remote places you wouldn’t be able to reach by an ordinary boat. Once you enter this unique wilderness, it’s like you’ve discovered a new world. This is where alligators roam freely and where exotic birds are everywhere.

You may wish to fly into Tampa (72 miles) These two airlines fly there, British Airways from London-Gatwick and Norwegian Air Shuttle from London-Gatwick.

Florida Friendship Tour

Moving Around  Whichever airport you choose to arrive at we will arrange for you to pick up either 12 seater or 15 seater vans to use during your stay.

We’ve found that this is the best way for groups to travel around, however if you prefer not to ‘self-drive’ we can offer private coach travel but this tends to be expensive.
