San Marino Cup

San Marino Cup is the largest Italian international youth soccer tournament for boys and girls.

A great sport, social and culture experience with a unique international atmosphere. The largest Italian youth soccer tournament for boys and girls: the 2020 edition features over 100 Teams from 18 Countries and 4 Continents, this was more than 3000 participants. The tournament is open to Football Clubs, Schools and Academy teams to boys aged 10 to 18 (teams organised in 5 categories) and girls from 13 and older (3 categories).

The matches will be played on 12 grass and astroturf fields on the Rimini Riviera and in San Marino Republic.

Teams enter from across the World; in previous years teams have travelled from Algeria, Argentina, Canada, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Morocco, Norway, Peru. San Marino, Tanzania, the USA and, of course, Italy

The matches will be played in San Marino, Riccione, Misano and Bellaria. At your disposal will be changing rooms, physio rooms, showers, official balls and first aid. As an added attraction, the opening and closing ceremonies and some of the finals will be held in the national stadium of San Marino! This is your chance to play where the national teams of England, Germany, Holland and Spain have played.

Tournament Location and Accommodation
San Marino Cup

The beaches of Riccione/Rimini and Misano are known all over the world and are considered the diamonds of the Adriatic coast. They have very fine sand and with the sunshine from daybreak to sunset this is one of the most important attractions that the cities offers its guests.

For those looking for nice alternatives to sunbathing, relaxing at the many bars and restaurants on the beach is a great choice not to be missed.

At sunset when lights are on, time for ‘happy hour’ begins; cocktails and exotic fruits, music and barefoot dancing on the beach. Among other opportunities…. dinner pubs are the newest fine cuisine with lounge music; then street bars and live-music places.

Hotel Oberon

There are a great selection of 2 star, 3 star, 3 star superior and 4 star hotels available to you and all of them suitable for your team needs and budget.

Some of the hotels are located in the San Marino Republic and some on the beach just a few minutes walk from the sea. All of the hotels are in good location, very close to restaurants, city centres pubs, clubs and shops.

Each of the hotel offers single, twin, triple and quad rooms, simply let us know your requirements .

The accommodation package includes two meals a day (breakfast and dinner) which are always served at the hotel and if you want to include lunch we’ll provide this at extra cost.

Tournament Programme
San Marino Cup Opening Ceremony

Sunday, July 3rd – After arrival at the airport you will be met by a tournament representative and travel by private coach to the tournament headquarters for the check-in. The team will get all the information and documents to participate in the event. Remember to bring with you Players’ Passports in order to check the age! (All the teams must be at the check-in no later than 08.00 pm). Final transfer to your selected hotel and check-in.

Monday, July 4th – After breakfast, today you will begin playing the qualification games according to your games schedule. Leisure time during the day depending on your tournament schedule.

Tuesday, July 5th and Wednesday, July 6th – After breakfast, qualification games continue in the morning and in the afternoon, depending on your tournament calendar.

San Marino Cup

Thursday, July 7th – During all the day last quarter-finals and semi-final games for all categories according to your games schedule.

Tonight at 09.30 p.m. the San Marino Cup tournament disco will open. It is reserved for all boys and girls attending the tournament (special entry for owners of Super Card).

Friday, July 8th – After breakfast, check out hotel and final games per each category in the morning and in the early afternoon.

Transfer to the airport for your flight home, do you have the trophy in your luggage?

At the end of all finals, prize-giving ceremony with medals for all players and trophies for winners of each category.

Visit San Marino Republic.

This is the oldest republic in the world and is 657m above sea level yet only 6 miles from the Adriatic Ocean.

The 61 sq km Repubblica di San Marino boasts an old town worth a visit; the views all around are quite spectacular.

The Three Towers of San Marino are located on the three peaks of Monte Titano in the capital.

San Marino is a magnet for millions of tourists every year, a variety of shops selling hand-crafted items and souvenirs offer diversified shopping opportunities and fun!

Established in 1987 in the hills around Riccione its a 90,000 sq m area where you will find spectacular slides totalling over 3 kms – from Kamikaze to Tobogas, from Extreme River to Speedriul, from Twist to Fiume Lento (“Slow River”), down to the latest super family-sized slide, StrizzaCool.

Come play in the vast wave pool, where ocean-sized waves are created by special machines.

Bologna Airport

The nearest airport is Rimini. Ryan Air flies there from London-Stansted.

The next nearest airport is Ancona which is 53 miles away. Only Ryan Air flies there from London-Stansted.

Finally, there is Bologna (77 miles) The following airlines fly there from the UK and Ireland:
