S.O. Aimargues Tournament

May 15-18th 2020

The Olympic Stadium of Aimargues is a provincial club located between Nimes and Montpellier and just15 minutes from the beach. They will organise next spring the 16th edition of their international tournament.

Every year they introduce participants to local traditions. For instance, a typical evening will be a meal and a show featuring the Camargue, a breed of domestic cattle native to the Camargue marshlands of the river delta of the Rhône in southern France. It used for the traditional sport of course camarguaise, a kind of bloodless bull-fight.

Previous years have featured top French amateur clubs such as Montpellier Hérault, Nîmes Olympique, Paris FC as well as teams from Belgium, England, Spain and the Ukraine and of course all over France.

All teams will play a minimum of 8 games officiated by officials from the Gard / Lozère district and the Languedoc Roussillon league. Matches will take place on the two grassy fields of the Bella Vista complex. There will be a refreshment bar and snacks will also be available throughout the tournament.
