Week 44 Tournament

October 28-31st 2021

We are proud to introduce you to a new tournament, with a strange name, played on the Costa Brava coast during the half-term week, giving you a chance to recharge your batteries and bring a bit of sunshine into your lives during the dull UK days October.

Organised by c2e2 Sports and played at the wonderful Soccerland Catalunya, known as the football kingdom, this tournament promises to be a welcome addition to the football calendar.

Tournament Venue
Soccerland Catalunya Complex

The tournament takes place at Soccerland Catalunya a custom-built complex which has eleven 11-a-side pitches and three 7-a-side pitches. All pitches are equipped with mobile football goals. The complex is just over 6 miles from the hotel complex you will be based at during the event. The quality of its natural turf is internationally recognised for its excellence and its superb drainage.

The complex totals 150.000 m2 and has a capacity for 5.000 people. Besides the football pitches, you can find the following:

12 changing rooms
Coffee bar
Leisure and entertainment area
Picnic area
Pool
Network of trails and marked paths
Large car park area with a capacity for 65 buses and 500 private cars

Accommodation and what to do in the area

All teams stay at The Evenia Olympic Resort, in the heart of the Costa Brava.

The resort is located in a quiet area of Lloret de Mar and a few metres from the town centre and the beach where you will find shops, restaurants and nightlife. It is an ideal place for family holidays. From the first day of your stay, you will discover a whole world of sensations that will allow you to fully enjoy your holiday in Lloret de Mar. The resort has large gardens, tropical swimming-pools and slides and other attractions.

Beaches; It’s inevitable that if you go to Lloret, you have to check out the beaches, Lloret has lots of choice, such as …

Lloret Beach: At more than one and a half kilometres long, this is the largest beach in the town after which it is named. It is located in the centre of Lloret.

Fenals Beach: is the second largest beach of Lloret de Mar at 700 metres long. It is located in a bay sheltered from the winds by a hill that separates it from the town centre and Lloret Beach.

Sa Caleta Cove is located next to Lloret Beach. It stretches below a castle that enjoys lovely views. Small boats are clustered along the shore. It is a fisherman’s cove with a 5% gradient and coarse sand.

Camp Nou Tour

The Camp Nou Experience… This tour retraces the steps of players that have made history, such as Kubala, Cruyff, Maradona, Guardiola, Ronaldinho, Suarez, Neymar and Messi among others. Visitors can feel the true Barça passion by visiting the most emblematic areas of the Camp Nou.

Discover the visitors’ changing room and the tunnel onto the pitch, from where a panoramic view of the whole stadium can be enjoyed, you can also sit on the first team bench!

Celebrate the Club’s History in the FC Barcelona Museum; players, matches, trophies, and memorabilia that have enthused millions of fans from around the world. Audiovisual area and multimedia installations. Messi Space. Trophy Gallery. European Cups and understand the values that make Barça “més que un club” – more than a club.

Here any football fan’s dream comes true as they sense just what it is like to be a Barça player. You go on to visit the television studio, the mixed zone, the press room and the commentary boxes.

Want to feel part of the first-team squad and have your picture taken with the Champion League or one of your heroes? Strike your pose in one of our Tour Photography points and treasure the moment with the most original of souvenirs. Our staff will deal with everything – a little touching up and you’ll be ready to go! You couldn’t wish for a better souvenir!

The tour ends on the second floor, where you can visit the fascinating Multimedia space, which was renovated in January 2010, and which has been received enthusiastically by members and visitors.

The nearest airport to Lloret is Girona-Costa Brava which is 17 miles away. The following airlines fly there from the UK and Ireland.

Jet2 from Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds/Bradford, London-Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle upon Tyne.
RyanAir from Bournemouth, Bristol, Cork, London-Luton, London-Southend and Manchester.
TUI from Birmingham, Bristol, Doncaster/Sheffield, London–Gatwick and Manchester.

Another option is Barcelona El Prat which is 54 miles away. These are the airlines that fly there from the UK and Ireland.
